Come Get in the Game at the Junior National Championship
Join us for a day of sports, fun and family time at the 8th Annual Getting’ in the Game presented by CSL Behring on Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 10:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. at the Eaglewood Golf Course in North Salt Lake City. This event is for adults and children with bleeding disorders and their immediate family members. Come enjoy a day dedicated to bringing sports and physical activity to the community. Meet other families in your area who are impacted by bleeding disorders. Hear inspirational stories from two accomplished athletes with hemophilia about how they were able to overcome the challenges of their disorder and achieve their dreams. You can participate in golf or baseball events, learn to stretch properly, and get inspired by CSL Behring’s own Gettin’ in the Game athletes, Perry Parker and Jesse Schrader. You can even win a trip for you and your family to the 2009 National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) annual meeting in San Francisco.
Event activities for children include:
- Golf and baseball clinics for all skill levels
- A chance to meet with two of our Gettin’ in the Game athletes
- Family games and activities
- Complimentary lunch and refreshments
- A special awards ceremony honoring each child participant
