Reaching Out to Southern Utah
Staff members from the UHF and HTC had the pleasure of meeting several families in the Southern Utah area through the recent clinic and education meeting held May 13-15, 2009. These families had the opportunity to meet with the full HTC staff for a comprehensive clinic visit at Dixie Medical Center in St. George. Friday evening, the UHF sponsored a dinner at Parallel 88 in Springdale and guests were able to hear presentations from Renee Marlette, Heidi Lane and Susan Earl about important issues related to the care of bleeding disorders. It is the hope of the UHF and HTC this outreach can be an annual event. Thanks to all who attended and especially to the great team at the HTC for doing such a great job!
