"Fall" into the Adult Retreat
The kids are back in school. Autumn is just around the corner and it is, once again, time to plan for the Adult Retreat. This is a great chance to reconnect with friends in the community and learn about topics pertinent to those dealing with the challenges of bleeding disorders. This year’s event will be held Friday and Saturday, October 9th and 10th, at the Homestead Resort and the registration fee will include your room, dinner Friday evening, a workshop and breakfast Saturday morning.
Our speaker for Friday evening will be Karen Johnson. Karen works as a counselor for the Jordan School District, providing individual and family counseling. She counsels students and families and provides support and guidance as needed on a regular as well as crisis basis. She assists students in improving school performance as well as enhancing communication skills and developing successful family dynamics. She also assists students in developing the skills to advocate for themselves and others while coping with conflict, anger, and challenges.
Space is limited so send in your registration as soon as possible. If the registration fee is a financial hardship, please fill out the Fee Waiver form and send it along with your registration form. We cannot make a reservation for you until we receive this information. (The registration and Fee Waiver forms are available below).
